The Story of Mizan Miah – From Employee to Entrepreneur.

The Story of Mizan Miah – From Employee to Entrepreneur

I’ve seen him at his lowest, and I’ve hummed quietly beside him at his highest. I’m just an air conditioner mounted on the faded wall of his tiny room — but to Mizan Miah, I’m a friend, a silent witness to his journey.

Mizan used to work as a technician in a big electronics company. Every day, he’d wake up early, take crowded buses, and repair dozens of ACs across the city. He was smart, skilled, and dedicated. But every time he installed a machine or solved a complex fault, the credit — and the profit — went to the company. His boss grew richer. Mizan stayed in the same rented room. Same thin wallet. Same tired evenings.

One late night, soaked in sweat and frustration, he leaned against me and whispered, “I’m tired of building someone else’s dream. I want to build my own.”

That’s when it all changed.

With just a few tools and big courage, Mizan started “CoolAir by Mizan” — his own air conditioning service business. No fancy office, no big team — just one man and his dream. The early days were brutal. He worked 15-hour shifts, answered every call himself, and handled customers with unmatched honesty and care.

People noticed.

One satisfied customer led to another. His social media posts gained attention. A viral reel showing Mizan fixing an outdoor unit during a storm brought thousands of new followers. Slowly but surely, jobs poured in — homes, schools, banks, even malls. He trained two local boys and gave them jobs. Then five. Then ten.

Today, Mizan Miah runs one of the fastest-growing AC service companies in the district. His logo is on vans, uniforms, and billboards. He now spends more time managing and mentoring than sweating in the sun. His effort didn’t stop — but it became smarter, lighter, and more rewarding.

And every night, when he comes home and turns me on, he smiles. Not just because the room is cool, but because he knows the heat of struggle was worth it.

I, his AC and friend, hum a little louder in pride.

“Success didn’t come overnight,” Mizan often says.

“But it did come. And now, I work less for myself, not someone else.”
